There is a great tutorial for Emboss Resist Glass Etching on Splitcoaststampers.com. Click here to view it.
Reverse Emboss Resist Glass Etching is different from Emboss Resist Glass Etching, in that your stamp image is etched instead of the sorounding glass. Click here to view my sample in my gallery.
For this tutorial you will need:
Flat Surfaced Glass Object
Small Circle Punch
Glass Cleaner
Rubber Stamp(s) (bold works best)
VersaMark
Embossing Powder
Embossing Heat Tool
Latex Gloves
Armour Etch Cream
Sponge Brush
1. Clean the back of your plate with glass cleaner as the etching cream has a difficult time etching fingerprints.

2. Dab your VersaMark pad directly onto the glass surface that you want to etch. Make sure that the you cover more area than the stamp will cover.

3. Sprinkle a thin layer of embossing powder over the VersaMark.

4. Spread out the embossing powder and tap off the extra.

5. Ink your bold stamp in VersaMark, and stamp it into the powder. Lift up stamp, removing powder from the plate.

6. Clean stamp and repeat the last step with same image to remove more powder.

7. Heat the powder that is left on the plate. Do not hold the plate while you are heating it as the glass gets really hot.

You have now created a stencil, that you can use to etch inside of.
8.Using a sponge, cotton swab or sponge dauber, daub some etching cream into your embossed "stencil", making sure that it covers all of the glass in the "stencil".

9. Wait for five minutes, then rinse the plate thoroughly with gloved hands in warm water.

10. The easiest way to remove the embosed powder, is to let the plate soak in warm water for a few minutes, and then run it under warm water.
